After A.P. went to high school, and before he went to college, he was an amateur skateboarder. It's why we had
skateboarding tricks as our table names on our big day. It's also why, last year, when A.P. took skateboarding up again, I was understanding, even though all I could picture was him cracking his head on the concrete. Luckily, shortly after he realized he's 31 and stopped.
That's why I wish I was fancy and rich enough to be able to afford a piece of art by
Haroshi. The artist uses old skateboards to create his sculptures, and they are, for lack of a better word, cool as hell.
And I
bet you know which one I'd buy, right?
